I love the lacy beauty and sheer femininity of this crocheted capelet. The elegant drape of this wool and silk blend yarn really shows off the pattern of this vintage looking piece. I think the flowers dancing along the bottom are so pretty. I made this particular one for myself, but have crocheted many of these capelets in various colors for friends and to sell. Although they are lightweight and airy, they add just enough warmth when wrapped around the shoulders on a cool afternoon. And the minute I put mine on I feel like I've taken a step back in time.
