Yes~ I've wrapped up another Shawl.
I wanted to see this pattern crocheted in a solid color after doing it in a multicolor.
I really like both!
This avocado green is one of my favorite colors.
It seems to be a color that looks good on a lot of people.
And green is always so fresh and soothing to me.
I added a Rose pin in Ivory with a little Pearl in the center as a closure to this one.
I named it "Miss Phoebe's Cottage Shawl"
and listed it on my Etsy Shop
I do like the solid color.
I think I'll make more :)
It's really quite warm too!
Now my little granddaughter wants a "dark pink one" in her size.
Well..... OKAY!
Oh!
The name for the shawl?
Phoebe is one of my weenie dogs {tee~hee}.
I have another wrap I make that I call a
Sweet Sophie Shawl.
I don't have any of those in stock right now.
And you guessed it...
Sophie is my other weenie dog :)
How sweet! and I just love that white rose! :)

DeleteWhat is it about green that most of us like?
Hope you are having a great week and enjoying your newly re~done craft room!
Happy Quilting, etc.
Hi Danette....it's a very lovely green. I am not really a shawl person but I think I would wear this one...I love the way it's draped in the fourth photo...LOve it!
ReplyDeleteHi Shari!
DeleteI love the look and idea of shawls but am fussy about the ones I will wear. This one works for me. I kept the multicolored one I made before the green for myself. I wore it out for the first time on Saturday and loved it! Have a wonderful week in your small southern town!
It's the details that really make a project. And I love that you went a step further and added the pearl.
ReplyDeleteThanks Audrey!
DeleteYou are right ~ I like the little details too:)
Hope your jaw is feeling better.
The shawl is fabulous! And how fast was that. I blinked and lo, you've finished it.
ReplyDeleteToo Funny!!! Keep blinking then, maybe I will get more done that way ;)
DeleteThe shawl is lovely Danette...I love the rose on it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane!
