Remember the lovely Malabrigo yarn in Deja Vu that I started a shawl in?
Well after a couple of weeks of picking it up and putting it down to do many other things in life,
then purchasing two more hanks of yarn
and winding them...
FINALLY ~ It's a Wrap!
The pattern calls it a Half Granny Square Shawl.
I have always loved crocheted granny squares.
There's something still kind of hippie~ish about them but I never can resist them!
Like I said before, the colors in this yarn take me back to my little cottage garden.
Mmmm......
Love em'.
And what is my next project?
Maybe just ONE MORE of these shawls.
Isn't this a gorgeous GREEN?!
And I DO want to see it worked up in a solid color.
These silly things could become addictive :)
Your shawl turned out beautiful Danette! I bet you will be wearing this one a lot. And you are already well into the green one I see! Yes they are quite addicting : ) Happy crocheting this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Lynne! I put up my feet for awhile this afternoon and got into the 2nd skein on the green one already. It'll be done in no time :)
DeleteOh, your shawl looks great! My favorite pic of it is the one with the chair, so pretty. Crochet really makes the colors pop with variegated yarns.
ReplyDeleteWay to go starting another one already! Love the green yarn. Have a great evening!
Thank You Dear!
DeleteI like the chair pic too. That's the chair I use at my desk. I recovered it years ago. I thought the colors looked pretty with the shawl. Have a lovely day!
Wow! that must have taken you like forever, pretty impressive!

DeleteDanette,
ReplyDeleteYou've done so much. That green is my absolute favorite..mostly because is makes my greenish skin and eyes look great. My husband used to call me the hippy chick long before he knew my name. It's just something.
