I am still knitting up wee little bunnies!
And, once again, as I am thinking
Spring
there is
snow
falling down all around me.
We are expecting upto 6 inches in my area.
Ahhh well.....
it's a good day to stay tucked up inside
wearing my soft & snuggly chenille sweater
and watch the snow come down
as I knit and sip hot tea.
Oh!
And a little sweet treat is always
a must at such a time as this :)
The house is so much cozier when the oven is fired up
&
the aroma of fresh baked
Pie Crust Cinnamon Rolls
permeates every nook and cranny!
The yarn being used in the Bunny Hatchery
is
Jeannee
by
Plymouth Yarn
It's 51% cotton and 49% acrylic
making it easy to work with
machine washable
&
kid friendly.
{It's safe for adults too!}
And because I can never have
just one project on the needles at a time ~
I am also working on a larger bunny
to give to my granddaughter
Gabby
for Easter.
Those are the sweetest bunnies! I am to working on bunnies, but made of fabric and I am crocheting their dresses for I can not knit!
ReplyDeleteI really need to learn but it looks very confusing! Maybe one day I will trade in my crochet hooks for some knitting ones!
Thanks for following my new blog....I love loyal followers!

Hi Shari!
DeleteI love your bunnies with their sweet little crocheted dresses :-) Don't ever trade in your crochet hooks! Your work is too gorgeous. If you lived here I would teach you to knit as well. I give private lessons in crocheting and knitting. Yours would be free!
I will remain your loyal follower.
I am "hooked" you might say! :)
Danette

Your basket of bunnies make me want to sit down and play with them! What difficulty range would you put these in? I'm pretty much a beginner in knitting but I'm itching to make a basket full.
ReplyDeleteHi Pamela!
DeleteSo glad you like the wee little bunnies!
They truly are not difficult.
The pattern is in Vintage Knits for Modern Babies by Hadley Fierlinger. If you make some we want to see them! :)))
