Two Lefts Don't Make a Right

I really love it when I get to the
BIND OFF
and realize
I just made
Two
LEFT Mitts ...
Seriously???
:-/
Thankfully I just recently stocked up
on some Knit Picks goodies
so I can now knit
Two
RIGHT Mitts
:-)))
My Christmas gift from my parents this year
is a Gift Certificate
for Knit Picks.
When my Dad saw they were having
HUGE Sale
 last week
he asked if I would like my gift early...
Uhhh....
That was a YES!!!
I've been wanting the Rosewood Needles for
FOREVER
and
both sets
were on sale
so.... :-)))
I have to say
I LOVE THEM
even more than I thought I would!

They are very elegant
and
smooth
and the points are
perfect.
The joins on the circular set are easy to tighten and completely smooth.
The straight set is 10 inches {my favorite length for knitting needles}.
Mercedes loves them too.
I can't stop kitting since they arrived.
This is some of my absolute favorite yarn.
Knit Picks City Tweed in Aran/HW.
LOVE it!
Before the yarn and needles arrived though
I did do a bit of
Crocheting
This is a Snowflake Dishcloth.
And I'm trying my hand at
Tunisian Crochet
for the first time
I really like it!
While I seem to be on a
Red & White theme
I have to show you the picture of my
Crabapple Tree
in our
First Snow
last weekend
This tree is outside my kitchen window.
On the side of my house.
Right where I sit at the table.
I love to watch it as the seasons change.
In the Spring it is covered in beautiful dark pink flowers.
All Winter long the
 squirrels,
 blue jays
 and
 cardinals
will feast off its little red berries.
I like to get a nice cup of hot tea and watch them.

I have a busy week ahead of me though
getting ready for this at my house...

But there will be time for a sit down at my favorite window
with a steaming cup of tea
from time to time...
After all,
a Girl can't be expected to clean house
nonstop.

I hope you are all staying warm and cozy!

  5. Danette, I feel your pain in doing 2 left mitts!!! I've done things like that
and if it's a one time never try again project....it's a pain in the neck!! But we
are not alone in doing this, I'm sure you will find others that have done the same thing.
    Happy knitting.
    Cheers, Anita.
