Wrapsody

I admit it ...
I have a real
thing
for Wraps!
I love making them whether they are
crocheted
or
knitted.
This one I crocheted in
pink
as a Christmas gift to my daughter
Chelsea
a few years ago.
I made an identical one the same year in
green
for my daughter
Hilary.
This is one I
knitted
for Chelsea also.
It's very cute either way it's worn.
And the pattern was so simple.
Here's one of my all time favorite
crocheted
wraps!
I have made so many of these.
This is my last remaining one for sale on my

And then there's the latest
crocheted
Granny Square Shawl
I recently made for display purposes at my LYS
Eweniquie Yarns
Remember? ~ The one they paid me in
yarn
to make :)))
Well ~
That's a
Wrap
for today!

p.s. One last reminder~
you have til
midnight
tonight

  1. Hello Danette, All Your crochet wrap are very lovely. I really like the shades of blues. You are a very talented lady. I also would like to mention that I really love your Pink Porcelain Rose in your post below, it is gorgeous, indeed. Did you find it at a antique shop or is it a family treasure. Hugs Judy

    1. Oh Thank You for the lovely compliment!
The little pink porcelain rose is a tiny teapot a special cousin brought when she visited me about 4 years ago. She knows my passion for roses and teapots! It measures about 3 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches tall. I LOVE it! It sits on top of my antique china cabinet in my kitchen. I really don't remember if she found it at an atique shop or not. I plan to make it a family treasure though. My 5 year old granddaughter has inherited my love for all things foo~foo. She loves tea things, antiques and anything pink or floral!
      Hugs to You Judy!

  4. Hiya Danette, I've got a bit of a thing for wraps/shawls too. I have no idea why as they are not always the most practical option. I'm just casting off a lace shawl now.
In answer to your questions, sneaky dog is a Heinz 57 from our local dog rescue. Black short haired with big ears a bent tail and an old mans beard! And yes the photos are on my walk to our local shops here in Hawes. Love Fi x
