Quiet Waters

"The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.
He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.
Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Psalm 23

Because sometimes we just need to be reminded who's really in control.

  5. I appreciate your kind words Dannette. Sometimes when there is so much to be fearful of those words are just what we need.

    1. I know it's a hard time right now Meredith and the future is always unseen. It's especially hard for those of us who carry the burden of our fellow man so deeply. It's so very easy to get caught up in the things of this world... so much fear and hatred ... and it's hard for those of us who love deeply. I DO believe God cares deeply though and that ultimately HE is in control no matter WHO else thinks they are ;-)
      Love to you and Little Buddy,
