Forever Flowers

Although yesterday was only February 2nd,
my
Very Sweet Hubby
has already given me
not one
but
two
beautiful
Bouquets
of
Flowers
We found these exquisite
Vintage Needlepoint
pictures
at a local shop.
They are good sized
measuring about 29 by 19 inches.
I hung them behind my dining room table
where we have wonderful family dinners
play board games
entertain friends
&
where I hold my weekly
Knit Night
They were made by the lovely
talented
hands of some lady I will never know.
But I will appreciate
treasure
&
enjoy
them for my lifetime.
They were priced seperately but we could not bear to
think of them being seperated.
So ~
lucky ME
I came home with both of them!
I just couldn't be more
tickled
I told Scott these are my
Forever Flowers

    1. Thanks Judy!
Scott is always very thoughtful. We have been together since I was 15. I am 48 now. He knows me well ~ and loves me anyway! :)
I can't wait for my Knit Night Girls to see the pictures tomorrow night. They will LOVE them!
      Hugs to YOU Too!

    1. I know Meredith! Such time and talent. Every stitch perfect and the price was only about half of what it should have been :) I am truly enjoying them. During the winter, especially in flu season, I spend most of my time inside my house. I take a weekly chemo pill for my RA and my immune system is very compromised. So surrounding myself with pretty things really helps.
      Have a Lovely Day!

  3. Aren't you the lucky one? They are absolutely wonderful. Shame that they ended up in a shop, but great that they've gone to somebody who appreciates the work that went in them.

    1. I know ~ I thought it was a shame they were not passed down through someones family. But I can assure you they will be passed down in mine! I can't get enough of looking at them. I spend the bulk of my time in my dining room because the chair I knit/crochet in is in that room. So I can admire them often.
      Happy Day Ruby!

  6. Danette,

Good husbands are hard to find. You are blessed to have each other but of course you already know. Why not celebrate love and romance every day? At least during February.
I have been collecting dishes with faux stitchery. Joe gave me a canister set with what may be faux crewel.
    Happy February my sweet friend.
