Well ...
SO DO I!
I recently found this
gorgeous
antique bowl at a local shop.
The minute I entered the store
it beckoned to my soul from a corner of the room.
I just love the fact that its footed.
And, of course, it is
covered
in
roses!

Then to my utter delight ~
I turned the corner and there were
more
roses!
So...
She had to come home with me too!
Because I truly do love to have the whole place
swimming in
roses!
And to add to my
sheer delight ~
they were having a sale!
I have a real passion
for plates hanging on my walls.
Especially those with
my beloved
roses
My dear Mother~In~Law
is a China Painting Artist.
She painted the large plate at the very top
&
the one just below it
in the center.
I love them!
For me
roses
can come in any form.

And plates with roses, and plates with violets, etc. etc.

DeleteYes it is wonderful! My Mother~In~Law is 86 & we live next door to her. She had 2 sons & has always treated me like the daughter she never had. I was 15 when I started dating my husband {I am 48 now}. She has been generous to me with her elegant art work over the years. Soon I will show an oil painting of roses she did for me many years ago.
She is not a rose lover herself but has created many of them for me.
